All postage stamp images on the site come from Fred Poe’s personal collection, which he started at the age of seven.
George H. Wittenberg, III, AIA
"Postcard Art," has evolved for me as an artist and an architect. Time spent since childhood drawing in cities and sharing stories about the drawings grew into the postcard concept. I define "postcard art" as an original work of art created on small and sturdy enough paper to be able to be mailed internationally. It must be mailed to someone (that someone could be you; read "What You Get When You Purchase Postcard Art"). It must be sent through the postal systems with the required stamps and cancellations as part of the image to qualify as true "postcard art". So these works offered for sale are all
original drawings created on site, using a combination of media - pencil, pen, ink, watercolor, washes and collage - stamped, and then mailed.
