When the weather turns cold, the first thing many of us think of us a warm getaway, and right now we’re dreaming of the Christopher Hotel in St. Barth.

This five-star ocean resort is located in Pointe Milou and consists of only 42 rooms (19 of which are suites) and three incredible four-bedroom private villas. Despite its low guest count, its pool is the largest on the island and is said to be the best spot to catch the incredible sunsets. In fact, their pool is the only one on the island that enjoys sun all day long—what better way to maximize your time in the sun?!

Protected by trade winds, the Christopher offers stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring islands. The hotel itself has the feel of a large house with timeless, elegant design, which is enough to make you feel right at home while still feeling like you are immersing yourself in a luxurious experience. All accommodations are either oceanfront or ocean view, so no matter which room category you choose, you will not be able to escape the views and that lulling sound of the sea.

Villa Options at The Christopher

While any of the hotel’s rooms or suites would provide an exceptional stay, lots of families are looking for an even more private experience in the current global climate, and we think the villas at the Christopher St. Barth provide exactly that.

In these villas, the frontier between interior and exterior has been erased to allow nature to play a major role in these light-filled home-away-from-homes. Natural materials, such as wood and bamboo, are showcased, creating an airy and gracious feel.

Each villa comprises four bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen ready for use by a private chef, a TV room, an infinity pool all your own, and a large terrace with ocean views. We would suggest enjoying a custom massage or perhaps a private yoga class on your terrace to enjoy a moment of wellbeing. Of course villa guests also enjoy all hotel benefits and amenities as well.

For your maximum comfort, a villa manager is also at your service throughout your stay to meet all of your expectations. All there will be left for you to do is relax, not thinking of a thing except enjoying the pleasure of being together with your family or friends.

Dining at The Christopher

The hotel has exceptional dining options. Their oceanfront restaurant Mango is perfect for lunch. In a fabulous setting by the aforementioned pool, Mango is swell for enjoying a toes-in-the-sand lunch or dinner. Chef Nicolas Tissier creates gourmet, delicate Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, and you cannot beat the view of St. Jean Bay and the surrounding islands.

Another dinner option is Christo, which is also oceanfront and serves as the hotel’s breakfast spot. The fare at Christo is all organic, and it’s the perfect spot for dinner in this incredible setting. At either restaurant, you are sure to find lots of yummy fresh seafood options, which you’d definitely expect as you gaze out at the sea. Should you wish to journey off property for a meal, the hotel is also walking distance to the famous Le Ti St. Barth restaurant.

The Sisley Spa & Activities

The hotel’s spa, the Sisley Spa, is award-winning and—you guessed it—sits right on the ocean, as the hotel has truly majored on its location. Described as the place “where wellbeing meets the ocean,” the Sisley Spa provides a unique “savoir-faire” and a relaxing experience. The spa has five treatment rooms, all facing the ocean, including one double for couples. You will also enjoy the oceanfront fitness center, complete with Technogym equipment. There is also a boutique onsite where you can scratch your shopping itch with a variety of designer brands.

There is a full range of activities on offer at the Christopher, should you be able to pull yourself away from relaxing…and we wouldn’t blame you if you couldn’t! The Christopher sits on one of the island’s two best spots for snorkeling and surfing, so those options will truly be on your doorstep. If you want to get off property for a bit, the hotel is a seven-minute drive from Nikki Beach, a luxurious haven for jet-setters that brings celebration, sophistication, and excitement together. We can also assist in arranging private catamaran tours, motor boats, sailboards, kite surfing, diving, jet skis, paddle-boarding, fly-boarding, tennis, and hiking tours, depending on your interests!
