Earlier this month, we shared the exciting news that our Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits were getting an upgrade, meaning we can pass on even more fabulous Poe Perks to you when you stay at any Four Seasons property worldwide. On top of that, Four Seasons Bora Bora has just announced a pretty spectacular set of offers, so we think it’s time for you to pack your sunscreen and prepare for a trip to French Polynesia.

Four Seasons Bora Bora

Four Seasons Bora Bora sits on its own island surrounded by mesmerizing turquoise waters. You’ll arrive by private boat and be whisked to your Overwater Bungalow Suite, or perhaps your Beachfront Villa Estate, many of which have private pools. You’ll quickly see that Four Seasons Bora Bora elevates the excitement to redefine a South Seas escape, immersing you in ultramodern comforts while still maintaining the spirit of French Polynesia and the signature Four Seasons style of service, which is unrivaled.

The resort offers 107 spacious hideaways, 100 of which are overwater bungalows, with the remaining seven being private villas. The small size of the resort coupled with its open-air concept make it reassuringly easy to socially distance, allowing you to feel at ease as soon as you have arrived. In the accommodations themselves, except spectacular views of the lagoon and Mount Otemanu. Your accommodations will have a restful, airy ambience and feature traditional teak wood furnishings, high ceilings, and thatched roofs.

The wave-shaped infinity pool fits perfectly in the soaring palms and tropical foliage near the beach, blending seamlessly with the ocean beyond. There is also a children’s pool, which is conveniently located near the beach and restaurants, making it easy for families to get the most out of their beach experience. The children’s pool is located within the Kids Club, a lovely perk for those traveling with little ones, and there is also Chill Island, a haven for young-adult guests that has its own beach and Young Adults Center.

Dining at Four Seasons Bora Bora

The imaginative dinner menu in the resort’s main restaurant celebrates its surroundings with the best in seafood specialties paired with the finest wines. This option is available for dinner only, but there are plenty of other dining options to sate your appetite throughout the day.

Adjacent to the beach, Tere Nui is the all-day dining option and features a charming thatched roof that nestles right into its tropical surroundings. Here, you will find modern Polynesian specialties with a French twist.

Sunset Restaurant & Bar features casual indoor lounge seating, over-water terrace seating, and a bar area. This is the place to enjoy freshly prepared sushi (yum!) and Asian-inspired dinners. To try a bit of everything, you can share tasty small plates and sip on signature cocktails or some of the more imaginative unique cocktails, if you’re up for trying something new!

Finally, Faré Hoa Beach Bar is a beachside option offering idyllic views of your surroundings. Its atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s the perfect place to enjoy poolside cocktails, refreshing soft drinks, and light snacks.

Enjoy this little top tip: we suggest traveling by outrigger canoe to a tiny sand motu in the lagoon to enjoy a romantic private dinner by the light of candles under the starry South Pacific sky.

Relax and Invigorate

The Spa at Four Seasons Bora Bora enjoys ocean views to take your breath away, utilizing the natural surroundings of the resort to immediately relax guests. The haven of the kahaia tree-inspired spa captures the unique balance that defines Bora Bora as a destination: surging energy combined with luxuriant tranquility.

The resort also has an open-air fitness center, where you can enjoy a sea breeze and views of the South Pacific while enjoying a good workout.

Since July 15th, 2020, quarantine measures have been lifted in French Polynesia, and borders are open to international tourism from all countries. All travelers are subject to the following mandatory conditions:

Prior to boarding:

You can stay up-to-date with information from the French Polynesian government on their website, and the team at Poe Travel is always reviewing new regulations from all over the world and can assist with arranging any testing necessary to return to the United States.

It is also important to note that Four Seasons—at all of their properties worldwide including the resort in Bora Bora—are taking COVID-19 very seriously and have launched their Lead with Care program.
