VIP da Vinci: Sans Crowds
Enjoy a Private Tour of the da Vinci Exhibition
In October, the Louvre in Paris opened its largest ever Leonardo da Vinci exhibition ever in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the artist’s death. Building on the museum’s Leonardo collection—already the best in the world with five paintings and 22 drawings—the show has been 10 years in the making and features over 160 works, including loans from institutions in Italy, Germany, Russia, the UK, and the US, as well as France.
The works—paintings, drawings, manuscripts, sculptures and artifacts—is being displayed in the museum's Napoleon Hall for four months; up to 7,000 visitors a day visit! Yes, we said 7,000. But, do not fret—with Poe in your back pocket, you can enjoy a private tour of the exhibition. This includes a personalized welcome in front of the Louvre pyramid, an expert guide, and skip-the-line direct access.
