Introducing Cliff Beach House
The house is owned and run by the same team who runs its sister hotel, Cliff House, which is only down the road and is counted among Ireland’s top hotels. Guests can access the amenities of the hotel, including a spa and an award-winning restaurant, but can then enjoy the privacy that comes with having your very own home while you are away.
Every room of this two-story modern mansion enjoys spectacular views over the bay and out into the Atlantic Ocean via floor-to-ceiling windows. The design is contemporary and fresh, but always with an Irish look and feel that makes it cozy and warm. However, the uncluttered and serene feel of the house ensures that the focus is always on the incredible panoramic views.
Each of the house’s six well-appointed bedrooms features its own en-suite bathroom with luxurious modern amenities. The high-pitched ceilings in the dining and living rooms create an impressive space for coming together as a group. Outside, the house has ample outdoor space, including a patio with an outdoor dining area and a hot tub.

Sinead, the house host, will be available 24/7 during your stay. She is on-hand to help with anything you might need, from making sure the kitchen and larder are stocked to scheduling a private chef if needed. She can also help with any last-minute whims that you might want to take part in, such as fishing, kayaking, or a round of golf. Ardmore & Surrounds
Ardmore itself is the perfect location if you’re someone who is always looking for destinations off the beaten path. While it feels very authentically Irish and remote, it’s important to note that it’s still quite easy to reach; it’s only two hours away from both Dublin and Shannon airports. Given its location, it functions as either a great base for a longer stay or a good stopping point to fit into a larger itinerary. You’ll need to stay at least three nights, but we wouldn’t be at all surprised if your group decided to stay seven (or more!).
A jewel on the south coast, Ardmore is set between Cork and Waterford and is full of welcoming neighbors. It also has a rich history dating back to the fifth century, when St. Declan established a Christian settlement here before even St. Patrick moved to Ireland! The area has notable Christian relics and sites, including a 12th-century round tower, which dominates the hill above the village. While you’re in the village, leave some time for the majestic Cliff Walk, where you can look down to see the remains of shipwrecks. Of course, you will also want to allow yourself time to visit the village’s pubs for a few pints.
Further afield, you can visit the lush gardens of Lismore Castle, the House of Waterford Crystal, and the Jameson Distillery. We can arrange visits to Cork, the charming village of Kinsale, or to the Blarney Stone. To get active, hop on a bicycle and ride the Waterford Greenway Cycling Path or hike your way along St. Declan’s Way.
