We are excited to let you know that two last-minute spaces have become available on an unforgettable small-group itinerary to Tanzania and Kenya this July. Hosted by Barry and Cathy Beck, who have hosted numerous safaris over the past 22 years, this trip is a photographer’s dream. The group size for this trip is limited to 12 people, so you’ll have plenty of space and no large crowds to contend with on this dreamy East African safari.

This photographic safari encompassing Kenya and Tanzania is a Beck favorite and will provide a superb combination of incredible game viewing and safari camps in East Africa.

We have custom-crafted this departure to include four of the best appointed camps in East Africa—Kenya’s Kichwa Tembo Masai Mara Tented Camp, Tanzania’s Serengeti Under Canvas, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, and concluding the trip is the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, one of the most architecturally spectacular safari properties in Africa. Each location provides a distinctive, contrasting African experience and provides insight into the unique flora and fauna found in these regions.

If you are up for this adventure of a lifetime, simply contact us. We will provide all the finer details of the trip to set you on your way. The below overview should provide enough to get you daydreaming.

The reserve is a photographer’s and naturalist’s paradise with abundant elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs, along with the migratory wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy three full days of game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. Famed for its vast treeless grasslands and excellent wildlife sightings, the endless open plains of Tanzania’s magnificent Serengeti National Park boast 35 species of plains-dwelling game and prolific birdlife. The annual movement of wildebeest and other herbivores across East Africa’s Serengeti-Mara ecosystem is one of the greatest spectacles in the natural world. Over two million animals participate in this Great Migration, with some 200,000 zebras ahead of and 500,000 Thomson’s gazelle behind the main players: one and a half million wildebeest. The wildebeest spend the wet season on the southeastern Tanzanian plains and the Serengeti’s dry season on the plains of Kenya’s Masai Mara. The andBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas camps follow the Great Migration, bringing you as close as possible to all the action.
