If you’ve missed the fact that everyone at Poe Travel is a big Four Seasons fan, we don’t think you’ve been following along very closely. As you can imagine, we were thrilled last week when Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts made the huge announcement that they will be taking the splendor and celebrated service of their hotels to the sea with the first Four Seasons Yacht, slated to set sail in 2025.

Four Seasons Yachts

Along with Four Seasons, this new venture will bring together an unparalleled group of partners: Nadim Ashi and Philip Levine, leading luxury travel entrepreneurs and bold visionaries of this exceptional yacht experience, as well as Fincantieri, one of the world’s leading shipbuilding groups, which will deliver the first new vessel by the end of 2025.

Four Seasons Yachts is also planning on including two additional vessels after the first, though no timeline has been announced yet for these future ships. We expect the fleet to be completed in full within the next five years.

As of now, it looks like the yacht will start sailing in late 2025, and we expect reservations to begin opening in the latter half of 2023. Initial itineraries are expected to sail to ports of call in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. We will be bringing you further updates, itineraries, Poe Perks, and more in due course.

Visualizing the Four Seasons Yacht

The first of the yachts will be marked by bespoke craftsmanship, personalized service, and a dedication to excellence, appealing to discerning guests looking to reimagine their love of travel by experiencing the splendor of modern sea voyaging at its finest.

The 95 spacious, all-suite accommodations will start at an average of 581 square feet and will feature an extensive network of joining suite combinations, creating adaptable, villa-like residences. 60 percent of the vessel’s inventory will be in excess of 818 square feet. The most expansive residence, the “Funnel Suite,” will be an astonishing FOUR levels, offering more than 9,600 square feet of space, including a private wading pool and dedicated private spa area. What a dream!

Each suite will offer floor-to-ceiling windows, providing unobstructed natural light and access to expansive terrace decks. The combination of generous indoor and outdoor private space and ceiling heights upwards of 7.9 feet will achieve a new level of guest comfort.

The vessel will be 679 feet long and 88.6 feet wide with 14 decks. At a cost to build of $4.2 million USD per suite (yes, you read that correctly!), no expense is being spared in terms of the remarkable custom design. The first Four Seasons Yacht will offer nearly 50 percent more living space per guest than is currently available, offering the ultimate in privacy, flexibility, and spaciousness in a nautical residential setting.

Larry Pimentel, veteran luxury travel industry expert, is responsible for heading up the new enterprise and says that they plan to bring together “the very best across industries to create the pinnacle yachting offering through world-class design, curated experiences, and truly exceptional service.” He also says that once the ship is launched in 2025, there will be “nothing else like it on the open seas.” It’s a big promise, but if anyone is likely to keep it, it’s Four Seasons.

Your Future Experience at Sea

The vessel’s restaurants, lounges, and bar concepts will celebrate the excellence and creativity that has been Four Seasons’ hallmark, along with their history of culinary innovation and attention to guest preference. A perfect cappuccino in the lobby, a Mediterranean-inspired lunch, a dinner tasting in the sushi bar or a glass of champagne on the breathtaking terrace—you’ll never be far from a perfect bite, always paired with remarkable sea views, renowned intuitive service, and much more.

The yacht will also feature a full-service spa, salon, and wellness programming. The classic canoe-shaped aft will be home to an expansive pool deck, allowing sublime moments of leisure and relaxation. This area will also be ready to transform into an outdoor movie theater or space for an array of private events. The elegant and industry-first transverse marina is also an ideal spot for you to enjoy the inviting water, sunbathe, or explore the specially designed aqua leisure toys and accessories.

We are expecting many more details to be revealed in the coming months, and we can’t wait! We will be ready to keep you up to date on all the exciting news.
