The Auberge Resorts Collection only opened Mauna Lani on the Island of Hawaii in January 2020, so even if you’re a seasoned visitor to the Aloha State, you may not have had the pleasure of discovering this boutique gem nestled on 3,200 pristine oceanfront acres.

Nestled along the dramatic Kohala Coast and in the center of five great mountains, Mauna Lani is a sacred oasis where generations have made memories together on soulful lands once cherished by Hawaiian royalty.

The mood is set with natural wonders such as royal fishponds, natural lava plains, lush tropical gardens, and alluring beaches. Mauna Lani—meaning “mountain reaching heaven”—is a spiritual haven rooted in cultural traditions, seamlessly blending timeless history with a modern tomorrow. Nowhere in the Hawaiian archipelago is the land more powerful, more sacred, or more alive.
