From their incredible hotels to their luxury trains to their very own fleet of private boats, Belmond excels at all things opulent, always with a deep sense of respect for the regions in which they operate. We make no secret about our love of Belmond, and this time, we are putting the spotlight on Les Bateaux Belmond, seven floating villas that glide down the French waterways.
With options ranging from four to 12 passengers, Belmond’s fleet features the unique opportunity to privately charter a vessel for your very own personalized itinerary as you explore some of the best that France has to offer in true luxurious style.

Big News: Marguerite, A Belmond Boat
As promised, we also bring you the best news: a new boat is joining the Belmond fleet in late-August 2026. While availability this year is thin, there is still plenty in 2027—so let’s get planning!
The second boat to be totally refurbished in partnership with LVMH, Marguerite will explore the Burgundy region with signature Belmond elegance. Delicate, modern, and bright, with an opening and welcoming feel inspired by the daisy flower that inspired her name in French, Marguerite will host up to 8 passengers in four elegant cabins with king or twin configurations. Itineraries are available between Pontailler and St Léger, Lyon and Auxonne, as well as St-Jean and Lyon.
Some highlights we particularly love about this boat (aside from its incredible routes and the fact that it has the largest pool of any of the Belmond fleet)? Here are just a few exclusive experiences available that make this journey so special. . .
Private lunch at Château du Clos de Vougeot
Market-to-table cooking class in Beaune
Private mustard-making atelier in Dijon
E-bike exploration of the Route des Grands Crus
Family-estate wine tastings in Gevrey-Chambertin and Côte de Beaune
